Audi of America today announced the release of Audi Themes and Audi App Store to embed entertainment and applications in the Audi MMI system of select 2023/24 Audi vehicles. With these offerings, Audi is providing customers with more options to personalize their Audi experience.
Audi Themes
Customers can also have available in-vehicle ambient lighting selections automatically set to compliment the image when the vehicle is equipped with the optional Ambient Light Package plus. With many designs to choose from, Audi customers can express their personality and creativity through their vehicle display similar to a cell phone background or computer desktop wallpaper. Whether it be scenes of the northern lights, serene landscapes or fun holiday motifs, owners can update their vehicle interior for every occasion.
Audi Themes are available for purchase in the myAudi Marketplace on the myAudi smartphone app for a one-time cost with prices starting from $12.99 plus taxes and fees. Audi Themes are specific to the vehicle for which they are purchased and are not transferable to another user or another vehicle.
App Store
The new Audi App Store is available now and allows customers to access their favorite apps directly via the MMI touch screen. The integrated and ever-expanding store has apps across Music, Video, Gaming, Navigation, Parking & Charging, Productivity, Weather, and News. The Audi App Store offers a user friendly interface that allows customers the ability to easily personalize their infotainment system to meet their preferences and needs. It also offers more options for how to spend your time during charging stops or driving breaks, making downtime more fun.
The Audi app store will be available on selected models that are equipped with the latest MIB 3 software cluster and will be expanded to additional models going forward. An Audi connect PLUS subscription which includes the Wi-Fi plan is required to access the Audi App Store.
