SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. ‒ Barrett-Jackson, The World's Greatest Collector Car Auctions, has been named the Official Auctioneer of Steven Tyler's 'Jam for Janie' GRAMMY Awards® Viewing Party on Sunday, February 4 at the Hollywood Palladium. Benefiting Janie's Fund, a non-profit that supports girls in America who have experienced abuse and neglect, the charity event will feature a curated live auction by Barrett-Jackson, including the sale of a custom 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster built by FantomWorks that will also be on display throughout Barrett-Jackson's Scottsdale Auction, January 20-28. Hosted by Zooey Deschanel and set against the backdrop of the glamorous Hollywood Hills, 'Jam for Janie' guests will enjoy world-class dining while watching the GRAMMYS® in the company of music royalty. Following the GRAMMY Awards® broadcast, the event will feature the auction and live musical performances from some of Tyler's iconic friends, including The Black Crowes.

'We're honored to be a part of Steven's event this February and look forward to raising much needed funds and awareness for Janie's Fund and the incredible work they're doing,' said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. 'Steven has long been a part of the Barrett-Jackson family, previously selling his Hennessey Venom GT Spyder at our 2017 Scottsdale Auction which raised $800,000 for Janie's Fund. We also look forward to showcasing this incredibly crafted Corvette here in Scottsdale throughout our event before facilitating its auction in February.'

Built by renowned restorer Dan Short and his team of professionals at FantomWorks, the 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster will be on display at Barrett-Jackson's 2024 Scottsdale Auction, January 20-28 at WestWorld of Scottsdale. Finished in black with carbon fiber accents, the Corvette is powered by a new LS3 fuel-injected engine producing 435hp and mated to a 4L70 overdrive automatic transmission with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. Riding on custom one-off black ball milled wheels with Baer 4-piston red caliper brakes, this roadster also showcases a FantomWorks patented 1963 Corvette split-window convertible top. The interior features black leather and deer skin with custom bolstered seats, leather one-off door panels and custom carbon fiber accents. It also includes custom one-off Dakota digital gauges with Janie's Fund logo and the FantomWorks' 'Fantom' on the faces.

'In our search for meaning, we ultimately discover that we need to be part of something bigger than ourselves,' said Short. 'Today, the crew of FantomWorks has teamed with a small group of donors and the staff at Janie's Fund to turn a car into an icon that symbolizes the ordinary doing extraordinary things. My thanks to Steven and Janie's Fund for allowing my artisans to be a part of your vision.'

Janie's Fund is a philanthropic initiative created by Tyler in partnership with one of America's most effective nonprofits, Youth Villages, to bring much-needed awareness to the issue of abuse and neglect in America and the most effective services to help girls and young in their trauma recovery. Launched in November 2015, proceeds to date have directly provided more than 353,000 days of counseling and trauma informed care for more than 2,200 girls across the country in the LifeSet program.

'We are beyond thrilled to be able to have our first ever car auctioned at Steven's GRAMMY viewing party,' said Richard Shaw, Chief Development Officer for Youth Villages/Janie's Fund. 'Dan and his FantomWorks team are donating this one-of-a-kind restored classic Corvette to Janie's Fund which will bring needed resources to support young women (ages 17-22) in the LifeSet program, nationally. We are forever grateful for this amazing gift.'
