2014 HONDA ACCORD AND ODYSSEY NAMED BEST VALUES BY KIPLINGER'S PERSONAL FINANCEThe 2014 Honda Accord (http://automobiles.honda.com/accord/) and 2014 Honda Odyssey (http://automobiles.honda.com/odyssey/) recently earned Best Value Awards from Kiplinger's Personal Finance. The Accord was named 'Best in Class' in the 'Cars $25,000-$30,000' category and the Odyssey was rated 'Best in Class' in the 'Minivan' category. Kiplinger's selects the winners based on a number of qualifications including price, performance, value, safety, roominess and driving impresions.

'The Accord and Odyssey each hold benchmark status in their classes for fuel efficiency, fun-to-drive character, safety ratings, and tangible value,' said Michael Accavitti, senior vice president of automobile operations at American Honda. 'We are proud to once again be recognized for offering true value to our customers.'

The magazine applauded the Accord for 'stellar resale values, a roomy interior and a standard rearview camera.' It also praised Accord's class-topping safety ratings. Describing the Odyssey, the magazine noted that 'Honda's reputation for reliability pairs well with a penchant for safety to push the Odyssey head and shoulders above the competition.'

All-new for 2013, the Accord has been recognized with numerous industry awards since its introduction in the fall of 2012. True to its roots, the Accord remains tightly focused on providing a long-established blend of unbeatable Honda safety and security features, value for money, fun-to-drive performance and handling, and passenger comfort and convenience.

Significantly updated for 2014, the Odyssey is the only minivan to earn a 2014 TOP SAFETY PICK+ rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), and the Odyssey leads all minivans in EPA fuel economy ratings* with a 28 mpg highway rating.
