BRIDGE OF WEIR LEATHER COMPANY CONGRATULATES JAGUAR ON BEST CONCEPT CAR INTERIOR AWARD AT AUTOMOTIVE INTERIORS EXPO 2014Bridge of Weir, Scotland, 26 June 2014 – The Jaguar C-X17 concept, which features interior leather from Bridge of Weir, has been honoured with the award for Concept Vehicle Interior Design at the Automotive Interiors Expo 2014 in Stuttgart.

Jaguar selected Bridge of Weir's unique brand of low carbon leather for its 'C-X17' sports crossover concept, which was revealed at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.

The C-X17 concept was designed to demonstrate the all-new advanced aluminium monocoque architecture from Jaguar, which will form the basis for a new range of future Jaguars, the first of which to go on sale in 2015. The C-X17, Jaguar's first ever sports crossover concept, combines the character and driving experience of a sports car with increased presence, style and flexibility.

The interior features four individual bucket seats, all upholstered with Bridge of Weir leather from Scotland.

Bridge of Weir leather is also specified for a variety of Jaguar Land Rover products including the XJ Ultimate, Range Rover Evoque and 4th generation Range Rover.
