ROME 6 HOURS – A WIN FOR THE 458 ITALIAMaranello, 25 November – The 458 Italia scooped up another trophy this weekend at the Vallelunga circuit at the final round of the Endurance Champions Cup, the Rome 6 Hours. The end of season classic, the last of four rounds of this national endurance series, was totally dominated by Ferrari with a clean sweep of the top three paces, to defend the company colours, thrashing the opposition from the likes of Porsche, Lamborghini, Audi and Mercedes. The win was also a testament to the professionalism of the Corse Clienti department, which coordinates all racing activity for privateers and which, on this occasion saw many of its drivers come out on top. On the highest step of the podium was the Esta Motorsport tream with Alessandro Pierguidi, Alexander Skryabin and Alessandro Balzan, who have also enjoyed success in the European Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli. The Italo-Russian team crossed the line ahead of the AF Corse Ferrari of Jack Gerber, Marco Cioci and Giancarlo Fisichella, the team that had won the FIA World Endurance Championship to give the Maranello marque the constructors' trophy in this prestigious series. Third was the Kessel Racing car which for this race employed the services of the experience Thomas Kemenater and Maurizio Mediani, two instructors from the Clienti Ferrari and XX and F1 programmes, alongside Nigerian owner Aluko Kola, making his race debut.

Next weekend the Ferrari action moves to Spain for the Finali Mondiali the final round of the racing season, which for the past 18 years has provided fans from around the world with the chance to see on track participants in all the Prancing Horse's racing and amateur activities.
