A Preview of the Cars of RM Sothebys at Amelia Island

The RM Sotheby's auction in Amelia Island has been extended to two days in 2017 with 'A Gentleman's Collection: The Pride and Passion of Orin Smith' to be offered largely without reserve during an exclusive evening auction on March 10.

The selection of American and European Classics on offer at the 2017 Amelia Island sale features stunning coachbuilt examples like the 1938 Graham Model 37 Supercharged Cabriolet by Saoutchik or the Castagna-bodied 1933 Isotta Fraschini 8A Dual Cowl Sports Tourer.

One of the many highlights from the auction is a matching-numbers 1950 Ferrari 166 MM Barchetta, chassis number 0058 M. It is one of the most important and simplistically beautiful Ferraris ever built.
