Briggs Automotive Company (BAC) is preparing to bring Mono Mania to Scandinavia by taking on the iconic Atlantic Road Trip from 15-19 August.

The Atlantic Road Trip is a stunning, 2,500km route that takes in some of the most picturesque and driver-focused roads on the planet, with petrolheads coming from all over the globe to sample its beauty and brilliance.

And as BAC's One-of-a-Kind Mono has been created to deliver the most driver-focused experience possible, it's the perfect model to take on the stunning route and grab attention across the region.

BAC was exclusively invited to take on the Atlantic Road Trip by seniors in the company, and its voyage represents only the second time the Mono has touched down on Scandinavian shores.

Back in February, three Monos descended on the frozen lakes of Åre in eastern Sweden as part of BAC's annual Ice Driving Experience for a festival of drifting fun, with the eastern locals captivated by the sights and sounds of the car. BAC hosts Mono Experience Days throughout the year

BAC's assault on the Atlantic Road Trip is likely to cause the same level of pandemonium, as the Mono will head through both Denmark and Norway for the very first time.

The route starts in the Danish capital of Copenhagen, before heading up the east coast of Sweden and into southern Norway at Larvik. The Mono will then drive east to Rosendal and on to Valldal ahead of its final Norwegian stop at Trondheim. The route finishes back in the Swedish capital of Stockholm, where the BAC team will celebrate another successful week of driving.

BAC Co-Founder and Design Director, Ian Briggs, said: 'We are so excited to get started on the Atlantic Road Trip and want to thank them so much for the invite to hit the road. Mono is the ultimate driver's car, and it makes perfect sense teaming it up with the ultimate driver's roads! Spreading the word on Mono is incredibly important to us, so we're very much looking forward to showing the people of Denmark, Norway and Sweden what we're all about. If you're on the route, feel free to come and say hello!'

Arne Johansen, Atlantic Road Trip organiser, added: 'Just the thought of having the world-famous BAC Mono on the Atlantic Road Trip is one to savour – and the reality will be absolutely scintillating to say the least. A stunning car in front of a beautiful backdrop will make for some amazing photography, and it's going to be a real treat for the locals to savour. We're very excited to welcome the best driver's car in the world on the best driving roads!'
