Warsaw, POLAND - Track1, Singer Reimagined's revolutionary chronograph, has been awarded the prize in the category 'Innovation in watchmaking' and the Grand Prix Watch of The Year (WOTY) 2017 at the 8th edition of the WOTY awards organized by leading Polish watch online magazine CH24.pl. Track1 was selected by an international jury of 10 watch experts and industry professionals. The prizes have been presented to Marco Borraccino during the ceremony organized in Warsaw on October 19th.

Singer Reimagined was born from the encounter between Rob Dickinson, Founder and creative Director of Singer Vehicle Design, and watch designer Marco Borraccino. The company was created to reimagine high-watchmaking, combining obsessive attention to detail, unique perspectives and a love for the iconic sport watches of the 1960s and 1970s. The duo was soon joined by master watchmaker Jean-Marc Wiederrecht who would provide a groundbreaking movement to power their first opus, Track1. Presented in June, this radical reengineering of the chronograph allows to go beyond the limitations imposed by preceding mechanisms, enabling a centralized indication of the chronograph functions thus enhancing legibility and performance.

Marco Borraccino declared: 'We are very honored to have won these two awards. We are very grateful that the jury voted for Track1, both in the meaningful 'Innovation in watchmaking' category and for the top prize 'Watch Of The Year' among all selected watches. Track1 is the result of a collective determination to push back the limits of mechanical watchmaking and to reimagine one of the most traditional complications, the chronograph. We want to thank all the people involved in this project and especially Jean-Marc Wiederrecht for designing this revolutionary movement.'
