Volkswagen Of America Recognized As A Top LGBTQ-Inclusive Business By The Human Rights Campaign FoundationHerndon, VA – (November 10, 2017) – Volkswagen of America, Inc. (VWoA) today proudly announced that it has been honored by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation as one of 609 major U.S. businesses that scored a 100 percent on the 2018 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), earning the designation as a 2018 Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality. This accolade recognizes companies that satisfy all of the CEI's criteria on corporate policies and practices pertinent to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees.

The 2018 CEI rated 945 businesses in the report, which evaluates LGBTQ-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs and public engagement with the LGBTQ community.
