Bosch Hockenheim Historic - Das Jim Clark Revival' 2012 is the only event for classic cars in Europe where you will be able to witness five different racing series for Formula cars on only one weekend. This way, the memorial event for Jim Clark from 13 April to 14 April 2012 definitely lives up to its expectations. The Scotsman attained success in numerous Formula types.
The Monoposti of racing classes like the FIA IHFO Championship, European Formula 2, Boss GP and FIA Lurani Trophy will fight for positions. Formula cars from six different decades will meet during 'Race History on Track'. The audience can look forward to big names like Brabham, Ferrari, Lotus and March. After their Formula 1 withdrawal, Toyota racers will once again be part of this worthy setting.
Race History on Track (RHoT) is an international and representative meeting of historic Formula cars enthusiasts due to the diverse assortment of cars. The array of about twenty racers steeped in history and about fifteen Formula 2 cars starts with the F1 Ferrari 500 built in 1952 which was driven by Alberto Ascari. The 1960s will be represented by the F1 Cooper T53, built in 1961, was driven by John Surtees. Modern F1 cars from Arrows A22 (built in 2001) and Toyota will also be part of the race.
Company Fuchs Neue Technologie GmbH will present the 'Team FNT' Toyota Formula 1 cars and will additionally demonstrate the brands' professionalism with original equipment in the box.
'Through the RHoT cars, Formula 1 fans will be able to witness the individual stages of development of Formula cars in recent year,' organizer Wolfgang Huter states delightedly about the unique race.
Bosch Hockenheim Historic in general will be very audience-friendly once more. The paddock once again will be open to all visitors and motorsport fans will be able to witness the preparations and repairs from up close.
As in previous years, historic motorsport fans can expect the perfect combination of exciting races, big brand club areas and a varied supporting program as well as numerous highlights on and off track. 'Bosch Hockenheim Historic' is the event for all admirers of classic cars and historic racing cars. The brand club area in the generously arranged part of the Mercedes tribune especially has been a welcome meeting point for all owners of vintage cars, modern-era classic cars and exotic cars for many years.
