Fernando's today was the tenth second place for a Prancing Horse car in this race and can be added to the eleven wins and the same number of thirds. The last time a Scuderia driver made it this high up the podium in Montreal was in 2006: then it was Michael Schumacher who finished behind the self-same Alonso.
