Echoes of Elegance Road Rallye to Explore Palos Verdes Peninula's Roots

Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. July18, 2013 - Surrounded by the beach cities of Los Angeles County, the Palos Verdes Peninsula rises majestically from the Pacific Ocean. Residents call it 'The Hill'. On Saturday, September 14 it's going to be the Hill on Wheels!
This year's Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance Road Rallye will take advantage of the spectacular ocean views surrounding the Peninsula. On the 2-hour timed drive, participants will enjoy many interesting sights and stops, including special access to the Point Vicente Lighthouse.
The Echoes of Elegance Rallye begins with lunch at the Rolling Hills Country Club and ends at the Palos Verdes Golf Club where trophies will be awarded and a helicopter will drop golf balls for prizes.
The entry fee of $200 covers the driver and navigator, lunch and the Grand Marshal's reception. Additional passengers cost $95 each. Children under 12 ride free.
The Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance at the Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes follows the Rallye on Sunday, September 15.
The Concours is a 501(c) (3) charity event with proceeds benefitting the Palos Verdes Art Center's educational and community outreach programs and Palos Verdes Rotary Foundation charities, including Harbor Area Boys & Girls Clubs.
