World Champion For Autosport InternationalThe only man to have won World Championships on both two and four wheels, racing legend John Surtees will headline the celebrity guest list at Europe's biggest motorsport show, Autosport International, next January.

Taking place at Birmingham's NEC on 9-12 January 2014, Surtees will share memories of his illustrious racing triumphs, accompanied by a selection of iconic motorcycles and race cars from his three-decade long career.

Dominating the motorcycle Road Racing World Championship between 1956 and 1960, Surtees won a remarkable seven championships. Switching to four wheels, he made his Formula One debut for Lotus at the Monaco Grand Prix and after being invited to drive for Ferrari in 1963, another title soon followed, with the Surrey-born racer claiming the drivers' crown in 1964.

In winning the World Championship, Surtees remains the only British driver to have won the Formula One title for the famous Italian marque. He is also a member of an exclusive club of racers to have driven for their own team, having set up the Surtees Racing Organisation in 1970.

At the show, Surtees will also highlight the work of the Henry Surtees Foundation. Established after his son Henry was tragically killed in an accident at Brands Hatch in 2009, the charity assists those who have sustained injuries in accidents, and provides education, training and road safety instruction for two and four wheels.

'Having raced for over 30 years in many different disciplines, it'll be exciting to pass on my experiences to passionate fans, and share the work of the Henry Surtees Foundation in motorsport and road safety.'

Having duelled with drivers such as Jim Clark, Graham Hill and Sir Jackie Stewart throughout his career, we know fans will be eager to hear from John, as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of his Formula One World Championship.'
