Eight Peter Brock designed cars on display at Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance

Rancho Palos Verdes, CA – September 9, 2013 - Eight iconic cars designed by Grand Marshal Peter Brock will be displayed on Sunday, September 15 at the 2013 Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance at the Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA.
The cars are:
1963 Corvette Split Window Coupe
1963 AC Cobra CSX 2005
1965 Shelby Mustang GT350
1965 DeTomaso P70
1968 BRE Datsun Roadster1970 BRE Datsun 510
2010 McCluskey Daytona Coupe CSX 2605.
2013 Brock Coupe, aka the Superformance Shelby Daytona Coupe, the only licensed continuation of the original Shelby Daytona coupe racing cars of the 1960s.
The most valuable of the cars is believed to be the DeTomaso P70, a one of a kind prototype unveiled at the 1965 Turin Auto Show and hidden from public view until 2007. Experts put its value at more than $5 million.

The Concours will celebrate the 'Age of Elegance' by showcasing some of the world's most luxurious classic automobiles, according to Chairman Peter Kunoth. The featured classes include Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Duesenberg and the coachwork of Raymond Dietrich. The Concours will also recognize the centennial of Aston Martin, the 60th anniversary of the Corvette, and the 50th anniversary of the Loewy Avanti. Other classes will showcase post-war luxury cars, and a full range of sports cars. Preservation cars - automobiles that are in original and well maintained condition - will be displayed alongside the restored cars.
