MONTEREY, Calif., February 6, 2014 – As road racing fans prepare for the inaugural running of the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship May 2-4 at the world-renowned race track, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and Continental Tire agree to continue the successful partnership they began in 2011.

The highlight of the Continental Tire Grand Prix Monterey, powered by Mazda is the new TUDOR United SportsCar Championship Series, which features competitive racing with two styles of cars, prototype and GT. Each style of car has two classes, pro and pro-am, meaning there are four classes of racing on the track at all times, each with their own battle for the lead.

The Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge, Mazda MX-5 Cup, IMSA GT3 Challenge by Yokohama and Lamborghini Super Trofeo Series will also compete on race weekend to ensure there is plenty of on-track racing throughout the weekend.

Advance purchase general admission starts at $35, with a three day general admission pass only $75. Children 12 and under are admitted free when accompanied by an adult. Free parking is also available.
