INFINITI'S DIRECTOR OF PERFORMANCE, SEBASTIAN VETTEL, DELIVERS INSPIRED PERFORMANCE AT CANADA'S 'HOME OF MOTORSPORTS'MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, Canada – Before defending his victory at the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal later this week, Infiniti's Director of Performance and Quadruple FIA Drivers' Formula One™ World Champion, Sebastian Vettel, put the Infiniti Q50 sports sedan through its paces at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park. Joining Sebastian in the car for more than 50 laps was a group of media and special guests – all of which left with a better understanding of what driving - and the Infiniti brand - are all about.

'It was a good experience to share my passion for performance with others,' said Sebastian Vettel. 'The speed of the track, the excitement of the participants really made today special and was a great warm-up before I head to Montreal and focus on the race.'

Vettel was not alone today as Red Bull ambassador and 13-time Grand Prix winner, David Coulthard, was also on-hand to give media and guests driving tips before letting them try the Infiniti Q50 for themselves on an autocross course. The Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge Concept inspired by Formula One, was also on display providing a glimpse of Infiniti's design prowess for high-performance vehicles.

'The Infiniti brand is on the move and the Q50 demonstrates not only our new design direction, but the next level of inspired performance which will extend across our expanding line-up,' said Stephen McDonnell, Managing Director, Infiniti Canada. 'When you have the world's top driver providing real input into the performance of your cars, you know the final product will be something fun to drive. Today, we were able to show that connection and it was thrilling for everyone involved.'

Located just outside Toronto and recognized as Canada's Home of Motorsports, Infiniti hosted the event at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park to demonstrate the performance capabilities of the award-winning Q50 sports sedan with the driver whose input helped make it the car it is today – the brand's Director of Performance, Sebastian Vettel.

'Helping to develop the Infiniti Q50 was a very different type of driving duty for me but I approached it in more or less the same way as we do it with our Formula One car,' said Vettel. 'I am looking forward to working closely with Infiniti in developing more of its road cars into the future.'
