One of the first displays that visitors will encounter at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance is the Blackhawk Collection Exhibit. This marks the 15th year that the Blackhawk Exposition sale is apart of the concours. On display are over eighty-five of some of the world's finest antique, classic and custom coachwork automobiles available for individual sale. The collection includes Bentleys, Ferraris', Jaguar, Roll-Royce, Delahaye, Horch, Lancia, Porsche, Isotta Fraschini, Maybach, Mercedes-Benz, Packards, and more.
Part of the collection is under a large tent with the rest have been carefully arranged on the lawn with beautiful backdrops of the ocean and the golf course.
Delahaye 135 Ms Roadster has coachwork by Guillore and was a one-off Paris salon vehicle. Since that time it has accumulated a number of awards such as a 1st at Pebble Beach in 2001, 1st at Meadow Brook in 2003, 1st at Newport Beach Concours, to name a few. The Delage D8-100 Franay Town car is the only Coupe de Ville to exist in the USA. The BMW M1 was one of the last examples to be created. There were only 455 produced between the years 1978 and 1981. The Mercedes 50HP Touring Wagon is the only known example to exist in the United States. It is a former AACA National first place winner in 1978. The Jaguar E-Type Semi-Lightweight is one of the 'Cunningham Three' that was heavily modified towards light-weight E specifications.
