1932 Buick Series 60 Navigation
Buick's model lineup for 1932 included the 50, 60, 80 and 90 series offering different wheelbase, features and powertrains. The 60-siers 5-passenger 4-door Sedan, just like this example, offered 'suicide' doors, arm rests, ash trays, passenger assist cords, folding robe rail, foot rest and a choice of either wood artillery or steel spoke wheels. This was also Buick's most popular body style for the Series 60 in 1932. The engine displaced 272 cubic-inches and offered nearly 100 horsepower. The Series 60 cost $1,310, weighed 3980 lbs, and 9,013 were sold.
This car is painted in its original two-tone blue combination. Though is sat in an unheated warehouse for 40 years and was virtually complete, it had badly deteriorated. A complete restoration was completed in 2009, and then promptly shown at the 2010 Meadow Brook Concours d'Elegance.By Daniel Vaughan | Aug 2010
