1935 MG NB Navigation
The MG N-Type Magnette was introduced in April of 1934 and brought with it many improvements. It had a lighter chassis, wider track, improved head design, and a 1.271 liter overhead cam straight 6-cylinder engine coupled to a Marshall supercharger. This gave the car a top speed of 80 mph. The engine had single overhead camshafts driven through vertical dynamos. There were twin semi-downdraught SU carburetors and a bore that measured 57 mm.
The NB was produced from September of 1935 to June of 1936.
This example is one of only 98 two-seaters built. Since fire destroyed company production records, verification of authenticity is difficult. However, this car was authenticated during its original restoration in the early 1970s.
