1947 Cadillac Series 60 Special Fleetwood Navigation
The 1947 Cadillac Fleetwood Sedans featured little changes from the previous years - and the 1946 models had very few changes prior to the last pre-war offerings. The most notable change for 1947 was the use of the wheel covers which would later become famous as the legendary Cadillac 'sombreros.' Power was from a 346 cubic-inch flat-head V8 engine offering 150 horsepower. Pricing was set at $3,195 and 8,500 examples were produced.

This example was previously owned by Victor Wouk, brother of author Herman Wouk, and known as the 'Godfather of the Hybrid' for his pioneering work in developing hybrid cars.
