1964 Chevrolet Corvair Fitch Sprint Coupe

The Fitch Sprint was designed by John Fitch to be a Grand Touring car. It includes some options such as a full-width front stone guard, Lucas 'flamethrower' headlights with headlight flasher switch, quick-ratio steering, quick shifter, heavy-duty suspension and a four-carb high-performance engine. The car has a racing stripe kit, dash-mounted tachometer, passenger-side under-dash grab bar and a Sprint wood gearshift knob. This vehicle was restored in 1985 by a previous owner, and has appeared at many car shows, including the Corvair Society of America International Convention. There are fewer than 50 examples of the Fitch Sprint Sport Roadsters known to have survived.
