1904 Cadillac Model F Navigation
This example is believed to be a 1904 Model F. The 98.2 cubic-inch horizontal single-cylinder engine delivers 9 horsepower which is sent to the rear wheels via a two-speed planetary transmission. The 76-inch wheelbase is kept in the driver's control via the dual differential-mounted brakes.
This car has participated in the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run. It is presently titled by its VCC Dating Certificate number. Reportedly sold new in Great Britain, it is believed the car was owned by the family of record-setting English racer Sir Malcolm Campbell. The car is equipped with British-style lamps and accessories and a body in the British style, all of which add credence to its English heritage.
It has an older restoration and is painted blue with black leather upholstery.
In 2010, this 4-Passenger Touring car was offered for sale at the Vintage Motor Cars of Hershey auction presented by RM Auctions. The car was estimated to sell for $50,000 - $70,000 and was offered without reserve.
