1957 Cozzi Jaguar Navigation
Dan Cozzi and Bill Nielson designed and built this car in San Francisco in 1957. The car is based on a wrecked Jaguar XK 120M coupe. The chassis is a tubular ladder-type frame with a boxed-section front cross-member and a boxed X-member in the center. Outriggers project off the main frame to support the Hagemann-built aluminum body. The body can be completely removed in 20 minutes. The Cozzi was driven at several different tracks in California. Nadeau Bourgeault raced the car at Stockton and Santa Rosa events in 1957. This, at the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance in 2007, is the first time the car has been outside of California since being built in 1957.
