The Jaguar XK140 was available with a rare 'MC' or 'Special Equipment' option that was available for an additional $295. The MC package included a C-Type cylinder head, a crankshaft damper and a dual exhaust system. These performance options raised the engine's output to 210 horsepower. The MC package also added wire wheels, fog lamps, windshield washers and upscale trunk fittings. This 1957 Jaguar XK140 is fitted with the MC option. It has a factory-fitted close-ratio gearbox and was given a body-off restoration in 2004 to JCNA concours-quality standards. It is painted in red with tan upholstery. There are Lucas headlamps, correct Lucas fog lamps land reproduction period Firestone whitewall tires. It was originally equipped with four-wheel drum brakes, but now wears discs at all four corners.
