1987 Porsche 911 Carrera Navigation
Porsche introduced its 3.3 Turbo supercar in 1979. It was a phenomenal vehicle that could reach speeds of 162 mph and was an engineering masterpiece.
This example was constructed in September of 1986 and was originally slated for export to the United States. It is finished in Guards Red over a black leather interior and is equipped with a limited-slip differential, an electric sunroof, and air-conditioning. When new, this vehicle had a Porsche suggested price of $62,000.
This example was delivered new to Foreign Motors of Boston, Massachusetts and spent its early years in New England with its owner Anthony Dinapoli.
Currently, the car has 8,067 miles on the odometer. The engine is a 3298cc SOHC turbocharged Boxer 6-cylinder unit that has a Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection system and capable of producing 282 horsepower. There is a four-speed manual gearbox and four-wheel vented disc brakes.
