This Allard Palm Beach Mark II is one of seven examples constructed. The original owner purchased the car directly from the factory in 1959. It has front disc brakes and roll-up windows that were installed at the factory prior to shipping to Portsmouth, NH. The current owners acquired the car in 1963. In 1995, it was given a partial restoration - mainly the paint and chrome - by Bayberry Classics in Hampton, NH.
This car features a Jaguar C-Type engine with a straight-six DOHC engine offering 210 horsepower. There is a Jaguar transmission, rear drum brakes, and front disc brakes, and an aluminum body. The car weighs 2,600 pounds and had an original price of $5,600.
