Jaguar Sports launched a limited edition of the XJR-S in collaboration with Tom Walkinshaw Racing (TWR) to commemorate Jaguar's win at LeMans and other major races. In 1993 a special run of only 100 'pre-sold' XJR-S were sold in the USA. The run consisted of 50 Coupes and 50 Convertibles with 25 of each in either black or red. In addition, there were five Silver Frost 'Press Cars,' which were the rarest of all. This particular car is numbered 003 and was pictured in several automotive magazines and newspapers.
