This Silver Ghost with chassis number 60565 was first sold to Sam Stevens of Rome, New York, who had a simple two-seater body built to his own design. It was used in this configuration in local motoring events for years before being fitted with a Barker-built side-entrance tonneau from another Rolls-Royce (chassis 60553) owned by Stevens. This car was later owned by Nelson Rockefeller.
