    1939 Graham Model 107 Navigation
Like too many other innovative automotive designs, the new 'Spirit of Motion' design, introduced on the 1938 Grahams, proved too radical for the American consumer. It was also produced in 1939 and 1940 but sales were a disappointment.

Power was supplied by a Graham-built six-cylinder motor that developed 116 horsepower, thanks to a supercharger. The Graham 'Spirit of Motion' series was built on a 120-inch wheelbase chassis.

The 'Spirit of Motion' design was created by automotive designer Amos Northup, who had a storied career in the auto industry. He produced designs for a number of automobile companies and is remembered for the Hupmobile Century Eight, Willys-Knight 'plaidside' series, the REO Royale Eight, and the Graham Bluestreak.
