1911 Cole Series 30 Model L Navigation
This is a 1911 Cole Series 30 Model L Speedster displayed at the 2006 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. It is an unrestored example, yet elegant and beautiful in every detail. The Cole Car Company was based in Indianapolis, Indiana, along with many other memorable marques from the pre-World War II era. The design of this car is reminiscent of a Stutz Bearcat. The rear-mounted spare tires, seating for driver and mechanic, fuel tank mounted behind driver, and a similar front grill and emblem shape.By Daniel Vaughan | Apr 2007
