Lola T600, chassis number HU06, was supplied to Ted Field's Interscope team. It was one of three Interscope Team T600 cars. The car, number 0, was powered by a Chevrolet V8 engine and raced during the 1982 season, piloted mostly by Field. Danny Ongais and Bill Whittington also received 'seat time.' In total, the car scored three victories.
In 1983, the car raced at the 24 Hours of Daytona, where it was powered by a Chevrolet V6 Turbo engine. It retired early in the race due to a blown turbocharger. This would be the car's last professional race.
Since its retirement, the car has been restored to its original configuration and used in vintage competition.By Daniel Vaughan | Oct 2011
