1985 Lotus Esprit Navigation
The Lotus Esprit was a collaboration of the Lotus Cars Legendary race and sports car designer Colin Chapman and Ital Design's Giorgio Giugiario (he has been recently awarded as body stylist of the century). The Esprit made its debut at the Paris Motor Show in October of 1975 and was instantly awarded the 'Star of the Show.' It had impressive and exotic looks coupled with stunning performance from the 907 engine. The light weight together with the legendary Lotus ride and handling projected the Esprit to Super car status.
The Turbo Esprit was not a bolt-on turbo package; rather, it was fitted with the new long stroke 910-tubro engine. Output was rated at 210 horsepower.
This 1985 Lotus Turbo Esprit has around 31,000 miles and has been treated to an extensive mechanical refurbishment which included an engine rebuild, new radiator and fans, and new clutch pressure plate.
