1952 Morgan Plus Four Navigation
This flat-radiator Morgan was purchased by Graeme Anton in early 1952. The car was purchased as a rolling chassis and given coachwork by Lionel Evans of Radpanels in Kidderminster, England.

The coachwork of this car was built over a steel tube frame rather than the ash wood sued in the Morgan-bodied cars. Another feature was the doors hinged at the rear which allowed Mr. Anton - who had been wounded while serving in the British Army - to easily access the cockpit. The car was registered LAB 274 and delivered to Mr. Anton on September 30th of 1952.

Mr. Anton competed in the events of the Cambridge University Auto Club, taking part and placing in numerous rallies and hill climbs.

The second owner of the car was Quentin English of the British Morgan Club who competed in various club trials and sprints, winning a President's cup in the club Trophy with the car.

Beginning the 1970s and through the 1980s, the car sat unused. Its known history resumes in 1991 and was acquired by Melvyn Rutter. Under his care, the cylinder block was replaced. The following year, the car was enjoyed around England under the ownership of John Banner.

By the mid-2000s, the car had traveled a mere 47,000 miles and was in the ownership of John Baroth. Years later, the car was purchased by a major stateside Morgan expert and the Dellow Morgan was imported to the United States for the first time.

In 2012, the car was offered for sale at the Gooding & Company auction held in Scottsdale, AZ. It was estimated to sell for $70,000 - $90,000 and offered without reserve. As bidding came to a close, the car had sold for the sum of $79,750 inclusive of buyer's premium.
