1989 Chevrolet Corvette C4 HatchBack Coupe

This Chevrolet Corvette is finished in red and has a red leather interior. It also has a white soft top which appears to have never been used.

The car has just 35,500 original miles, and most of those miles were put on by its original owner, Zora Arkus Duntov. Mr. Muntov is known as the 'Godfather of the Corvette.' He had a prominent career with GM until he retired in 1975 at the age of 65, relinquishing command to Dave McLellan. Mr. Duntov was a member of the Drag Racing Hall of Fame, the Chevrolet Legends of Performance, and the Automotive Hall of Fame. Zora even took part in the rollout of the 1 millionth Corvette at Bowling Green in 1992. He also drove the bulldozer at the ground breaking ceremonies for the National Corvette Museum on June 5, 1992.

The car is original and unrestored. It is identifiable by the Gold 'Zora' script on the doors and the AOPA (Air Craft Owners and Pilots Association) which sticker he proudly displayed in the rear window of the car's auxiliary hard top.

In 2012, the car was offered for sale at the Russo & Steele auction in Scottsdale, Arizona. As bidding came to a close, the car had been sold for the sum of $29,700 inclusive of buyer's premium.
