1959 Goggomobil Dart Roadster

This Goggomobil Dart was once part of a large private collection of microcars. It wears a high-quality older restoration that has been well cared for over the years. It is finished in cream with matching steel wheels and a chrome and rubber belt molding that wraps around the body to protect it from door dings. Inside there is black vinyl with cream piping on the seats. Power is from a two-cylinder engine displacing 293cc and delivering 15 horsepower. There is a four-speed manual transmission with front and rear hydraulic brakes.

In 2012, this car was offered for sale at the Amelia Island auction presented by RM Auctions. The car was estimated to sell for $50,000 - $60,000 and was offered without reserve. As bidding came to a close, the car had been sold for $27,500 inclusive of the buyer's premium.
