Like many cars of that era, some OSCA MT4 models were delivered to custom coachbuilders to receive their bodies. The early MT4 models were given a cycle fender body style that was known as the Siluro.

The 2AD portion of the MT4's name came from the new twin camshaft head introduced by the Maserati brothers in 1949.

Chassis number 1112 was the second MT4 2AD built, and it is powered by a four-cylinder engine with a lightweight aluminum block and head. The engine, fitted with two Weber Carburetors, is capable of producing 90 horsepower. There is a four-speed manual gearbox and hydraulic drum brakes at all four corners.

The car wears an attractive, sporty, and lightweight Siluro body.

In 1951, Luigi Fagioli drove the car to a First in Class victory at the Mille Miglia. A year later, the car was sold and sent to the United States. In recent years, the car has returned to Europe and been given a complete restoration.
