1954 Lancia Aurelia Series IV B20 Coupe

This Lancia Aurelia B20 is a 4th Series car that wears coachwork by Pinin Farina. It is powered by a V-6 engine with dual Weber carburetors and delivering 118 horsepower. There is a four-speed manual transmission and four-wheel drum brakes. It was completed on June 16th, 1954, and was first registered in Italy on July 5th.

Years later, it was purchased in 1989 after being discovered in a barn. A complete restoration soon followed and was finished in 'Blu Mediterraneo' paint which it still wears in modern times. The car is fitted with a Nardi twin carburetor and alloy airbox, has floor shift controls, and has a Nardi sport camshaft, high-compression pistons, balanced crankshaft, lightened flywheel and heavy-duty valve springs. The hood with scoop is correct for Nardi-equipped cars.

The current owner purchased the car in 2010.

In 2012, this car was offered for sale at the RM Auctions Monaco sale where it was estimated to sell for €60.000-€80.000 and was offered without reserve. As bidding came to a close, the car had been sold for €78.400, inclusive of the buyer's premium.
