The Bugatti EB110GT was introduced in 1992 and was the first production car produced under the ownership of Italian businessman Romano Artioli. The new model was designated the EB110 (signifying its debut 110 years after Ettore's birth) and was the first new Bugatti since the 1950s. The mid-engined supercar was designed by engineer Paolo Stanzani and stylist Marcello Gandini, co-creators of the exotic Lamborghini Countach. Like the Countach, the EB110 had a short nose, wedge-shaped body and gull-wing doors. The V-12 engine had five valves per cylinder, four turbochargers, a bespoke six-speed gearbox and four-wheel drive. The 3.5-liter engine developed 561 horsepower and had a top speed of about 360 km/h. Equally impressive was the price tag, which was $456,000.
A lightweight competition version soon followed, dubbed the EB110SS.

This EB110GT was first registered by Bugatti Automobili SpA in Modena before passing in 2000 to the current owner in Switzerland. The car has traveled a mere 830 kilometers from new and is in original and unrestored condition.
