1947 Maserati A6GCS Navigation
There were three examples of the Maserati A6GCS produced in 1947, and this example - chassis number 2002 - was the second example created. It was used by the Works team and driven by Luigi Villoresi during the 1947 season. After the season concluded, the car was sold to an Italian privateer and would remain in Italy for many years. One of the Italian owners was Maria Theresa de Filippis, the first woman to compete in a Formula One race.
