1933 Fiat 508 Balilla Sedan

The petite Fiat 508 Balilla, introduced at the Milan Auto Show of 1932, was available in several body styles, including a two-door sedan and a spider and, later, an aerodynamic coupe. Powered by a Zenith-carbureted 995cc side-valve four producing 22 horsepower, the 508 could comfortably reach 55 mph and deliver 35 mpg. Fiat introduced it with standard hydraulic brakes and in 1933 introduced a more powerful 508S Sport model with 30 horsepower.

This rare Transformable Roadster model from that year recently joined a museum of small European cars in Southern California.
