1929 Bianchi S8 Navigation
Edoardo Bianchi started building bicycles in Milan in 1885, and at the turn of the century, he produced his first single-cylinder motorized carriage. Throughout the 1920s, his cars were renowned for their attention to detail and above-average build quality.
The S8, introduced in 1929, was Bianchi's most luxurious offering, with a 2904cc eight-cylinder engine.
This S8 Convertible with coachwork by Graber of Switzerland was shown at the 1929 Geneva Auto Salon; it is the only known example of a Graber body on a long wheelbase. After coming to America in 1961, this car was hidden away in La Jolla, California, for decades.
