1951 Nash Healey Roadster Navigation
Nash-Kelvinator CEO George Mason and Donald Healey met on the Queen Elizabeth heading to England. Healey was returning from a failed meeting with General Motors to supply him with Cadillac engines. Mason needed a halo car to bring a more exciting image to his car company.

Donald Healey designed the original Nash-Healey. A total of 104 of these first series cars were built in aluminum by Panelcraft in England. Powered by the 125 horsepower Nash Ambassador engine, they were excellent performers.

This example is one of the first five constructed and bears a central accelerator pedal which was only found on the first ten cars.
