1990 Chrysler TC Navigation
Built between 1989 and 1991, the TC was the result of a longtime friendship between Chrysler chairman Lee Iacocca and Maserati owner Alejandro DeTomaso. Iacocca had a desire to build an image car for Chrysler using the mystique of the Maserati name.
Though they were built on the relatively pedestrian K car platform, the handsome Italian coachwork and turbocharged engine made for a nice package in a time when American cars in general were at a low. This particular example is one of the very special TCs powered by a 200 horsepower engine with a Cosworth head and a Getrag five-speed transmission. Only 501 were made with this configuration.
