1925 REO Model T-6 Roadster

Ransom E. Olds left the company he founded - Oldsmobile - in 1904. That same year, he was back in the automobile business. Unable to use his own name, he used his initials - REO - to launch another successful automobile.

The REO-built six-cylinder motor developed 50 horsepower. Placed into a 120-inch wheelbase chassis with a light roadster body, this resulted in a peppy automobile. This roadster sold new in 1925 for approximately $1,700.

REO continued to build automobiles until 1936 when the company switched solely to truck production.
