1967 Fiat 500 Coupe

In 1957 the Fiat 500 'Topolino' was replaced by the Nuova 500 which featured a unitary construction. They had an opening fabric roof and all-independent suspension. Mounted in the back was an air-cooled overhead-valve twin cylinder, half-liter engine.

Over the course of the Fiat 500's lifespan, the little car received incremental improvements and refinements such as hubcaps, upholstered rear seat, column-mounted switchgear stalks, and wind-down windows.

The Deluxe 500L was introduced in 1968 alongside the standard 500F. They both were mechanically identical with the 500L receiving exterior cosmetic enhancements and an improved interior featuring a new instrument panel, seats and floor covering.

This Fiat 500F Coupe spent many years of its early life in the village of Savona being cared for by Siri Vittorio. The current owner purchased the car in 2011 and then began a yearlong restoration. Upon completion the car was finished in bianco (white) and the interior is two-tone colored in rosso and bianco. Since the work was completed, the car has been driven just 200 miles.

In 2012, the car was offered for sale at the Quail Lodge sale presented by Bonhams Auction. As bidding came to a close, the car had been sold for the sum of $9,200 including buyer's premium.
