This 1970 Chrysler Newport Convertible is powered by the high-output 383 cubic-inch, 290 horsepower V8 engine mated to a TorqueFlite automatic transmission. There are power brakes, power steering, power top, 40/20/40 split bucket seats, cruise control, AM/FM 8-track stereo, Factory air conditioning, and power trunk release.

1970 was the last year Chrysler offered a full-size convertible and the final year of the 'fuselage' body style. This example is one of just 1,124 produced.

In 2012, this car was offered for sale at the Glenmoor Gathering presented by Classic Motorcar Auctions. The car was offered without reserve and sold for $13,500 including buyer's premium.
