The Frazer Nash LeMans Replica was the company's first production car. It was powered by a sophisticated BMW 328-derived engine mated to a pre-war Frazer Nash minimalistic design. Three examples were displayed at the 1948 earls Court show and the first example to be completed was named 'High Speed'. There were five examples of the Competition Model produced, 2 in 1948 and 3 in 1949.

Norman Culpan and HJ 'Aldy' Aldington raced their Frazer Nash car at the 1949 edition of the 24 Hours of LeMans where they finished in third place.

This example is a Le Mans Replica model, so named because it is a replica of the cars that ran at LeMans. It has a six-speed (nearly 2-liter) engine and a four-speed gearbox.

There were 22 examples of the 'Replica' produced between 1949 and 1951. The first Replica was sold to Count Johnny Lurani and it went on to win the Targa Florio.
