1968 Bizzarrini 5300 Strada Navigation
Giotto Bizzarrini was born in 1926 and was the chief engineer at Ferrari, working on such notable projects as the 250 GTO. After having a dispute with Enzo, he was fired and worked with Lamborghini. He developed their first V12-cylinder engine that had to be detuned for street use from 375 horsepower.
He eventually founded Societa Prototipe to manufacture high-performance automobiles under his own name. Approximately 140 Bizzarrinis were produced from 1965 through 1969 when the company went bankrupt.
