1986 Alba AR8 GTP Navigation
The Alba AR8 GTP was built for Jim Mullen and delivered in May of 1987. It was powered by a Buick V6 engine fitted with a twin turbocharger and mated to a Hewland VGC 5-speed gearbox. Only 1 example was ever built.

The car was campaigned during the 1987 season by Kalagian racing in the IMSA Camel GT Series under the GTP class. The car was driven by Kenper Miller, Calvin Fish Steve Alexander and Rob Stevens.

The current owner acquired the car in 1991 and raced it primarily in the HSR GTP class. From 2002 through 2003 it was treated to a complete restoration and finished in its 1987 IMSA PUMA livery.
