1973 Chevrolet Camaro Baldwin Motion Phase III Coupe

There is no disputing that the creations of Joel 'Mr. Motion' Rosen of Long Island, New York are among the most outrageous and recognized of the Supercars. By 1973, Mr. Motion was fighting the good fight and against all odds, continued to produce some high-horsepower street brawlers.

This 1973 Baldwin-Motion Phase III Camaro is powered by a 500+ horsepower balanced and blueprinted 454 cubic-inch big block engine. Although the big block was no longer offered by Chevrolet in the Camaro, Rosen would continue to offer his Phase III 454 package, with only a handful being built to order for discerning customers. In addition to the over-the-top drivetrain, this prime example of the end of the era is equipped with functional side-pipes, an L88 style fiberglass hood, the signature Motion striping and much more.

With a price tag approaching $10,000 and growing attention from the feds, Mr. Motion found it harder than ever to build his over-the-top machines, and even harder to find buyers willing to spend the money to be among the selected few who knew the difference.

This car was restored in 2000 and the restoration was supervised by Joel Rosen.
